Synthesis of
molecules for quantum information processing
Applications are invited for a
postdoctoral research position to design, synthesize and characterize molecules
containing long-lived electron and/or nuclear spins in order to demonstrate
intramolecular spin entanglement, with Prof. Harry Anderson (Department of
Chemistry) and Dr John Morton (Department of Materials). This project is
funded by the Quantum Information Processing IRC.
A strong background in organic
synthesis and spectroscopy is essential; experience in fullerene chemistry or
EPR would also be an advantage.
For further details, including
how to apply, see: http://www.chem.ox.ac.uk/jobs.asp or http://www.materials.ox.ac.uk/vacancies//index.htm#DJ07018
or contact Mrs K. Fewings, Department of Materials, University of Oxford, Parks
