As an hazardous and explosive molecule, hydrazoic acid must not be used by unskilled chemists. Moreover it is a very toxic gas and can decompose violently.
You'd better follow the usual Mitsunobu procedure.

Dear all,
i need your help to make a reaction to convert secondary alchol (not activated) in azide. We would try with DPPA(diphenyl phosporhylazide) or with Hydrazoic acid.
Have somebody ever tried to do a mitsunobu reaction with hydrazoic acid? i know about the instability of this acid but do you some references regarding it?and regarding DPPA?
