I have worked once with electrostatic compounds, but I was lucky and
it was enough just to touch something big made of metal with the
flask.

Actually, one can buy Zerostat in a normal shop dealing with TV/Audio
for $70 (vs. 119Euro from Aldrich), just check Google.
