ORGLIST: Sodium Phthalamate

Looking to make Phthalamic Acid (subsequently Sodium Phthalamate) in the
following manner:

 

1. Phthalic Anhydride + 2 Ammonia (20-25% water solution) --> Ammonium
Phthalamate
2. Ammonium Phthalamate + Phthalic Anhydride + 2 Caustic Soda (48%
water solution) --> Sodium Phthalamate

 

Have referred to BIOS report, which says 1st reaction is done over 30 hours,
etc but couldn't manage it.

 

Does someone have a better way, or can clarify on how to do this?

 

Pl help.
