ORGLIST: regarding plumbagin molecule

Hello,

im Research scholar from manipal and working on the extraction of plumbagin
molecule.
we wanted to know the chemical aspects of this molecule as we are facing
problems in exrtacting it from plasma.

i would like to know

1. in which solvents will the molecule be in unionized state.
2. does plumbagin react with Disodium EDTA
3. does molecule is stable in biological systems.
4. what is the stability of the molecule.

pls suggest some methods of extracting the plumbagin by liquid - liquid
extraction procedure
