ORGLIST: Active electrophile for enolate addition?

Can someone suggest some more active electrophiles over benzyl bromide to use in a enolate addition reaction?Is para-methoxy benzyl bromide a more active electrophile?How can one prepare benzyl iodide in situ for use as an electrophile? Thanks,Ken
