Dear Abu-Dawud,

you don't use formaldehyde as such, bur a polymer, say
paraformaldehyde, which can be easily handled. When you press and
heat the wood particle layer, some depolymerization takes place and
the polymer residues and the liberated formaldehyde condense with the
lignin and other phenolic materials adhering the particles to each
other.
