hi,
its not that difficult to remove DMF , we do it routinely using Buchi rotaevaporator at 2mbar and 5 C cooling temp, it goes well. i used to evaporate 250 ml in 5-7 hr. also DMF forms azeotrope with toluene, which boils at low temp, u can try this.
