Dear members,
                   i am working on the desulfonation of certain dye-intermediates(optical brightners) with mono and di sulfonic acid groups. how can arrive at the ideal strenth of sulphuric acid that would effectively desulfonate the selected compounds. The compounds i am working upon are
     
       1.diamino stilbene disulfonic acid
       2.meta phenylene disulfonic acid
