Hi!
Is absolute asymmetric synthesis now generally considered a method that
only may provide insight on how homochirality originated, or is research
being done on it's use in organic synthesis (for example chiral
crystallization of enantiopure catalysts for use in organometallic
transformations)? A quick literature search reveals that not much is
being said about AAS in the academic world (except for the fame Soai and
his coworkers enjoyed for their autocatalytic system).

Best regards, Jonas Sundberg
