I once read a defination of SCIENCE somewhere -
science is some human activiities to answer how and
why questions on the physical reality. I like that.
In analogy, CHEMISTRY should be all about human
activities on the interactions between nuclei nd
electrons. We may say this in many different ways, as
soon as it is unique, concise, accurate and general.
I don't force any one to agree with me. But I welcome
any critiques or comments on it.

To me, this is an bad answer or not an answer to the
question in the subject. What is a chicken then?
Chicken like any animals is just some meat and bones!
It sounds funny.
The following description is not either close to my
acceptance:
> I thought chemistry was those activities (and

> 'chemistry' by the group of people....
The effort was made here to describe "the group of
people" or "a social construct". But if this group of
people (chemists) are playing baseball, it is not
chemistry at all! When a lawyer mixes vinegar with
baking soda, it is chemistry. The point is "those
activities", but not who.

As I stated earlier, science is eventually science as
proved by history. There are clear boundaries between
science and other social domains such as religions.
The boundaries won't disappear as time passes by.
Creation does not belong to science no matter how hard
one tries.
Cheers!
