Frankly, I don't get your point.
I personally think that one of the ways to promote the
"eveolving" is to have some discussions on PARTICULAR
scientific and philosophical issues on the CONVENIENT
internet. This is also a fun to me as a real
scientist. I don't think this is about "Prestige,
power and money", which have no room in my mind when I
think about science.

leader with that theory for a couple of years."
But a fundamental scientific theory doesn't really
change much as time passes by, although it usually has
applicable limits. If a fundamental theory is thought
correct by the public initially, and later it is
proved wrong somehow, wrong is wrong and you cannot
make it correct by prestige, power and money. Science
is eventually science as proved by history! An
ordinary scientist like me does not have to be a
leader. I have been enjoying science for many many
years and nothing bothers me.

I would say that I have established much more
friendships (communicated personally with more than
200 scientists across the globe) than any hostility by
engaging in the internet discussions for the last 5
years. The later is really minor and neglectable as
compared with the former.
Science will surely never be perfect, but you may be
able to do something in you own way when you open an
eye for the opportunities.
Or should we stop saying or doing anyhting as science
should be imperfect? Or certain scientist does not
qualify due to lack of "Prestige, power and money"?
