Hi everybody,
I am searching inductive and mesomeric effect data regarding azide moiety. In the literature, I only found information about common groups such as NO2, COR, OR, and so... but nothing about N3. My first intuition is that N3 group should have a +M effect due to the negative charge located on the external nitrogens. How about its inductive effect?
I would greatly appreciate if somebody could help me in providing some recent bibliographic references dealing with these effects.
Thank you.
