Dear All,
  p-Nonyl Phenol is made industrially using propylene trimer & phenol.
  I want to adopt different route for economics reasons.
  Is it possible to synthesize it by any other route for ex. Nonyl alcohol
  and Phenol?

  May seem odd to some, but I cant help.
