Hi
I tried the nitration of azide subsituted quinoxaline with conc. H2SO4 and fuming HNO3 but it lead to a weired product which looks like that clevage of the ring has taken place. If anyone know any better method of nitration of these compounds it would be great.
  Regards
  R
