ORGLIST: crystallisation of a quinoline

dear all,
       i carried out a reaction in which i oxidized ascorbic acid with pyridinium chlorochromate and then reacted the product with orth-phenylenediammine. i expected the product to be a quinoline that will crystallisse out readily in cold water. However, i have not been able to obtain my crystals yet. the reaction was carried out in DMSO. p;ease do you know any way to obtain my crystals?
