Dear all
We prepare 2-chloroethylamine hydrochloride by a standard method using
thionyl chloride. We isolate this product in solid form. The product is known
to be highly hygroscopic.
Our problem is that the product needs to be prepared every time fresh
because of its hygroscopic nature and we cannot prepare in bulk as during
storage it absorbs moisture.
Can anybody suggest any additive which can help in keeping this product
moisture free.
If any one can give me any reference in this regard.
Thanking you in advance.
Dr.M.Shah
