Hi,
I'm planning an oxidation reaction with peroxides, water-free. As hydrogen
peroxides is unsuitable because it is only available as a solution, so I
opted for sodium peroxide. But this leads to the introduction of two
equivalents of sodium, where my products needs only one equivalent.
Therefore my question is, is there such a compound as sodium hydrogen
peroxide (NaOOH)? Is it possibly commercially available (I checked acros and
sigma-aldrich), or can it be synthesized on kg-scale?
Thanks in advance,
René
