William Loffredo
Convert one of the acids to acid chloride and add the other acid to it with
or without a base (Dimethylamino pyridine would be a better choice). This
will give a near quantitative yield of mixed anhydride. If homo-anhydride
formation is observed (by the reaction of acid with mixed anhydride), then
playing with concentration or addition sequence/rate could give a better
results.
all the best
