hi guys
Thanks for the suggestions on how to quench H2O2.
Now for another quenching question. What is the best (and safest) way to
quench NaOCl?
I've seen urea used in a patent, but I'm concerned about NCl3 being
produced. My solution to quench is about 1mL of 5% NaOCl, so this isnt an
industrial problem. I just prefer to keep explosions out of the lab.
Any suggestions welcome.
Cheers for any help
Will
