ORGLIST: oxidation phenols

Hi colleagues,

Can somebody tell me a good paper about oxidation of simple phenols,
cresols and 5-methylresorcinol. There are many papers about degradation of
these compounds but I'm more interested in processes where the products of
oxidation are identified and corresponding mechanisms.
