I agree with Mr. Richard, I had experienced that even in varying=
environmental conditions ( humidity / temperature ) stability of Benzyl=
chloride varies.

Pathi:
"Stable" is a relative term. If you leave benzyl chloride exposed to water=
at RT, or even in a refrigerator for long enough, the benzyl chloride will=
eventually hydrolyse to benzyl alcohol.
Nothing is really "stable"
