ORGLIST: enol triflates

Hello everybody

has anyone ever done a reaction for turning a ketone into an enol-triflate using lithium diisopropylamine (LDA)?
i am doing it in dry THF at -70 degrees and the yield is not satisfactory.
any comments about the sensetivities of LDA, the best temperature/solvet for it's formation and especialy what not to do would be greatly appriciated
