ORGLIST: enol triflates

Hello everybody

has anyone ever done a reaction for turning a ketone into an =
enol-triflate using lithium diisopropylamine (LDA)?
i am doing it in dry THF at -70 degrees and the yield is not =
satisfactory.
any comments about the sensetivities of LDA, the best temperature/solvet =
for it's formation and especialy what not to do would be greatly =
appriciated
