Hi, everybody!
I´m trying to reduce an aromatic nitro compound which also bears methoxy,
allyl and hydroxy groups in its molecule. Since catalytic hydrogenation
seems not to be the good choice, I´ve found an experiment with tin
chloride but it was not nice at all, since many byproducts have shown up.
I need to use cheap reagents on this. Anyone can help with methodologies
or references?
Thanks in advance,
Diogo.
