Hi, everybody!
Im trying to reduce an aromatic nitro compound which also bears methoxy,
allyl and hydroxy groups in its molecule. Since catalytic hydrogenation
seems not to be the good choice, Ive found an experiment with tin
chloride but it was not nice at all, since many byproducts have shown up.
I need to use cheap reagents on this. Anyone can help with methodologies
or references?
Thanks in advance,
Diogo.
