hello,
I'm looking for a very mild method to reduce a tripple C-C bond to the
alkane. but there is also a bromine in the molecule (attached to the aromatic
moiety), which has not to be affected by the reducing/hydrogenation conditions.
Pd-C in EtOH will remove the bromine. There's a way to compete by the addition
of dichlorobenzene, but if possible I wish to avoid this.
thank you, sincerely
samarium
