Hi colleagues,

We tried to prepare Rieke Mn for the synthesis of bezylMnHal. We used for
that the THF destilled from benzophenone/Na under Ar. MnBr2 was dried by
130 deg under 1 mm vacuum for two hrs. It was used two times excess of
lithium in presence of naphtalene. Everything was under Argon in septum
covered flame dried flask.
Unfortunately nothing happened. Can anybody give me some advice. What was
wrong?
