Hi there,
This may be useful if resources were limited and your THF was wet to start off with. Diethyl ether can be cleaned from peroxides by shaking with ferrous sulphate solution, 20ml of 25% w/v solution per litre of ether. I have not tried it with THF but if it worked then it would be cheap and easy to carry out on a large scale and would not produce any nasty residues. One would then have to dry it down to a reasonable level before adding sodium and benzoquinone to get it ultra dry.
