I still have a doubt about cis- and trans! the s- cis is termed as Z and s-trans is termed as E. And, E/Z nomenclature goes beyond double bonds, and having worked for a long time in olefin chemistry, this is more or less a matter of convention for me.
In case you have a concrete literature reference, that negates the use of E/Z nomenclature for cis and trans cyclohexandiols/diamines, let me know!
