Hello folks,
I'm looking for a method for the coupling of bulky amines (2,5-disubst.
piperidines) with acids to form amides. I have already tested several coupling
reagents which didn't work (TBTU, HATU, HCTU, HBTU). The formation of the acid
chloride prior to coupling with SOCl2 often didn't work well and the use of
oxalyl chloride is rather complex when the rxn is used for the formation of
libraries.
Does someone have a good, easy to handle method for the formation of amides?
Thanks a lot,
sincerely
samarium
