Well, I am a student of Gadjah Mada Univercity majoring in chemistry and concerning in organic chemistry. I have a problem about that such synthesize m-nitroacetophenone compound. I have read references about that and it show that m-nitracetophenone have physical appeareance: yellow light and powder. I have followed the procedure of synthesis m-nitroacetophenone, but the result is not satisfying in the meaning that the result have physical appearenece: yellow almost brown but liquid (almost gelly). I am afraid this didnt work. So if you dont mind whould you solve my problem by replying me soon and give me the clue of this. Thank you for your concern. Rosie
