Hello all!

Has anybody of you ever assembled a simple apparatus for peptide synthesis?

All I could think of, is a screw-capped sintered filter hold by some shaker (a
vortex for istance) were reagents and sovents are added from the top and
solvents are sucked afterwards by a water pump connected to the bottom of the
filter.

I would also take in consideration a "continuos flow" apparatus, but don't know
how it could be set up (maybe with some kind of peristaltic pump to keep the
solvents and reagents in circulation and some microcolomn packed with the
resin).

For the sake of clarity:
1) i am planning a 100-500 mg scale production;
2) i can't buy a synthetizer :-)

If anybody of you wants to share ideas, or sketches, or any kind of
suggestions, that would be great! A simple recipe for glass sylanization will
also do well!
T.V.M.!
