Dear Researchers,
I am working on the oil produced from rubber plant seeds and while doing the work after the transesterification, TE, reaction with methanol(in Base) the oil layer could not be washable in water. Becomes emulsion. Sometimes adding water makes the reaction product gets solidified. Could you suggest the write way to transform the TG's of this oil to its Methyl ester? what could be its pour point thing like?
Note.Performed the TG completion by treating the oil with glycerol before TE.
many thanks for your time,
bala
