hi everybody,
Has anyone utilized the following PTC in conjunction with
cyclohexane
tetrabutylammonium iodide , CAS No.: 311-28-4

The product being insoluble is removed as cake after filtration
and the PTC also being insoluble in cyclohexane is removed with
product.
PTC is also insoluble in water.
Any ideas or references to effectively separate the PTC would be
appreciable.
Or
Could anyone suggest a PTC with m.p.above 140°C that can be used
with cyclohexane.
