In my experience, I found that adding saturated solution of sodium sulphate (aq) is very helpful. you need to add the solution dropwise, till you see granular precipitate of aluminium salts. This is helpful because, in any other procedure, at time we get intractable gels, which are very difficult to break.wish you all th bestKrishna
