Hello every body

I am studying the ring openning of benzylic epeoxides using different nucleophiles like N3-, BH4- etc using cerium(III) chloride hepthahydrate. I am using trifluoroethanol as solvent, but the cerium is not dissolving. Can anybody suggest suitables non-nucleophilic solvents in which the cerium get dissolved to give a homogeneous solution.
I need an urgent reply.

Kind regards from
