Dear members,
First I want to say I'm sorry for being not clear to you all. We want to
measure (13C labelled) methionine by cIRMS (Combustion Isotope Ratio Mass
Spec.) Therefore the derivate should should contain als less carbon as
possible. Otherwise dilution of 13CO2 will take place and the sensitifity
will drop.
So I need a protection of methionine containing as less C als possible
therefore trimethylsilyl group are not the anwser.
All the best! Robert
