     Dear David Gauthier:
     I have some experience in preparing both the compounds.
     Fmoc-Asp(OtBu)-OH can be separated from Fmoc-Asp-OtBu by repeated
     crystallisation using ethylacetate and petroleum ether

       Dear members,
         I'm trying to cristalize Fmoc-Asp-OtBu from a mixture of
       Fmoc-Asp-OtBu
       and Fmoc-Asp(OtBu). I followed Gilles Lajoie's paper in
       Synthesis
       (1990) 571, but still have problems with cristalisation. I
       would
       apreciate if someone could help me.
