Good afternoon everyone:

We have been working on the Corey-Itsuno reduction with aromatic ketones
using
borane-THF complex, and have noticed that the borane reagents when obtained
from
different vendors sometimes gives different ee's when all other conditions
are
equal. Has anyone else had this problem? We would greatly appreciate any
insights that anyone may have.
