I have been able to successfully open and save the infected document
from Barnabus Liau, I use Dr. Solomon's WinGuard for Windows NT and it
detects and removes this virus.  The virus detected is W97M/Chack and I was
not able to find much information on it other than it is a Word 97 macro
virus (a lot of these going around these days -- we just had a bout of Ethan
and Laroux a while back).

	For anyone interested, Dr. Solomons is at www.drsolomons.com, Norton
AntiVirus is available at www.symantec.com and VirusScan is at
www.mcafee.com.  (I believe Dr. Solomons and McAfee have merged.)  It is
essential these days to have some sort of anti-virus software on PCs and
network servers and to keep it updated regularly, the number of new viruses
is ever increasing, also backups are essential as can be attested to by
anyone who has had experience with the ExploreZip email worm.
