Dear Everybody
Triphenylphosphite (PhO)3P , a moisture sensitive liquid
is made from phenol and PCl3. How does one check the presence of =
unreacted phenol in Triphenylphosphite,qualitatively? Aq FeCl3 is not =
satisfactory as(PhO)3P hydrolyses liberating phenol
