Hello there!
Do you know if tetrahydrofuran may be good for a chlorination procedure? I
need to perform such procedure over a substrate which shows little
solubility in ether, dichloromethane and CHCl3, and a good solubility in
THF and ethyl acetate. I so far tried with THF, but i am seeing at least
four distinct bands on TLC plates, and i don't know yet if they are due to
some side products or THF itself.
Any suggestion is welcome...Thanks! :)
Andrew.
