Thanks for your quick reply... when your response arrived in my mail box,
i was analysing the NMR spectrum of that compound... i can add up a little
bit over Bennani and Hanessian that LAH reduction in ether at room
temp(25) over 10 hrs. is working better (or equally good) than NaBH4/MeOH
reduction giving a yeild of almost 85%.....
