ORGLIST: fluorsceinamine/aldehyde coupling w/ cyanoborohydride

Am I correct in the assumption that I can attach fluoresceinamine to
aldehyde-terminated polymer chains with cyanoborohydride coupling
buffer in the presence of multiple hydroxy groups on the chain?

Also, it would be nice to learn how fast inter- and intramolecular
acetalisation occurs in aldehyde-terminated polyol chains. (This is
20% solution, RT, pH ~7). Is half/full acetalisation irreversible,
particularly in the presence of reducing agents? (I don't hope so).
