Hi Everybody!,
I hope you will forgive me if my
message disturbs your summer relaxation.
Can anyone explain me how one can measure acidity of anhydrous
environments? I heard that there exists Hammet`s scale (or something
like that) which shows acidity of anhydrous HF and so called magic
acid (SbF5 + HF ?) and others but I don`t know any further details.
Maybe some of you do? I will accept *every* information: equations,
examples, literature references and others.
Best wishes!
Witold Mozga
