Dear Dr. Costa Conn,
recently we introduced a simple solvent-free procedure to perform an
aza-Michael addition, valuable for some substrates unreactive under
standard conditions (Tetrahedron Lett. 1998, 54, 6169-6176). I suggest to
try something similar in your reactions.
