Suspecting that the large attachment could contain a virus, I took
precautions. My software stores attachments as a separate file. The fi=
le
was noname.002. I opened the file with Word 6.0. The program did not
recognise the extension .002, and asked me what format to open it as. I
chose TEXT. On examining the result, I saw no sign of any useful test, s=
o
i deleted the file.
The trick is to change the file extension to something else, such as .TXT=
,
and open it as such.
Hope this info is of use.
