ORGLIST: how would you separate these 2 comp.?

hello there!

Suppose that you have these 2 compounds (Et2O-CO)2-CH2 and its derivative
(Et2O-CO)2-CCl-NO in the same flask with the first one in excess...Is the
latter polar enough to be separated in acqueous media with respect to the
former?
