Hello, Jermey,

In J. Zabicky (ed), "The Chemistry of the Carbonyl Group", vol. 2, Wiley,
1970, pp. 58, 160-161, you'll find references on halogenation of aldehydes
and ketones. Sorry for the old citation. In more recent books of Patai's
series "The Chemistry of Functional Groups", you'll probably find some more
info, but I'm unable to cite some off-hand.
